Insider tips
Listen for the Beauty Between the Notes
The gayageum is a traditional Korean string instrument with a warm, resonant voice. Each note begins at your fingertips, while gentle pressure on the strings adds delicate bends and expressive vibrato. During your visit, take a moment to watch, listen, and feel how a simple melody comes to life.
Let Arirang Become Your Travel Memory
You don’t need musical experience to enjoy the gayageum. Follow your teacher’s guidance, take your time, and discover the pleasure of playing Arirang yourself—a melody to carry with you long after your journey.
